Condensing Time
Yesterday we turned our clocks forward for Daylight Savings. Good timing because this month, we will focus on the first of the TeleSmart 10 skills- Time Management. ![]()
If you had time to listen to our podcast Quarter-end Interviews with the Champions, the common theme for surviving end of quarter is effectively managing your time. Other key areas included: pacing yourself throughout the month, becoming pro-active in getting things through the system, staying focus and not losing momentum. When we’re on the phone, time is condensed. A telephone first impression is made within 7 seconds and email first impression within 3 seconds. We are communicating with incredibly busy decision-makers who have the capacity to listen in sound bytes to our messaging or see it on a tiny screen on their Treos or Blackberry’s. The race against time happens when we are selling by phone.
