I’m kinda nervous, my webinar starts in about one hour and registration is climing to 2000. Wow. That’s all I can say…. wow…… speechless. Who knows, when Gerhard introduces me, maybe nothing will come out of my mouth, the slides might freeze and then we will just chat together (he is really good at wingin it…) Or maybe a big ash cloud lands in my office and I can’t see a thing or maybe the dog downstairs (office friendly building) starts yapping and I can’t get them quiet. Or maybe we just start talking about Earth Day and that’s it.
I have this nervous habit when I’m nervous- I create more work for myself. Whether it’s a dinner party and I decide to make 4 extra dishes at the last minute or a speech I need to deliver and realize there is a new research study that I need to download and learn about or a webinar that I should send a press release on. There is that feeling of more but then seconds before it all happens, I enter in this zone that says, you have arrived- everything after this moment on is about this moment.
