Several years ago, I was at the make-up counter in Bloomingdales when suddenly everything stood still and turned quiet. I looked around and saw tons of body guards at all sides of the store, looking very serious and formal. Then I saw several men escorting someone through the store, they walked fast. Who was it? Mr Stevie Wonder- he looked larger than life, he walked with a relaxed pace and warm smile. It was in that moment that I felt I had been in the presence of greatness- a distinguished artist and master. And………he’s back- next week @ Dreamforce. And….. in his honor, I will play one of my favorite Stevie Wonder tunes each day before Dreamforce.
I’m putting my bold and ambitious agenda together as I will be wearing many hats to complement my multiple personalities- It’s just me, really.
Monday, December 6th- I get my badge and run over to the Marketo booth and put my mic on for my interview with Jon Miller. Marketo is live streaming over 20 hours of interviews with thought leaders, speakers, about anything from Sales 2.0 to Cloud Computing to Stevie Wonder.
After that, I run to the Dreamforce Press Room and get my blogging pass because I am blogging/tweeting the event.
Monday night Parties- there’s a few: Anneke is hosting the Dell/Boomi party @ the B Restaurant from 6-9pm, InsideView is @ Harlot @ 8pm.
Tuesday, December 7th- The famous duo- Marc Benioff and Bill Clinton in the Opening Keynote from 9-11am- there will be a live webcast. I will have to leave early and run over to the InsideView booth as I’m one of the thought leaders in their Social Selling University. I will be speaking from 11:00-11:30 and from 11:30-12:00 and from 5-5:30pm. My speaking topics will be around the Sales 2.0 family- Prospecting 2.0, Customer 2.0, Metrics 2.0 and Smart Selling to the People with the Power to Buy.
Tuesday night Parties- Glance is hosting something @ B Restaurant from 5:30-8:30, and Stevie Wonderful will be @ Moscone from 8-10pm. And in his honor, I will play one of my favorite songs as a countdown to Dreamforce. Let’s start with Village Ghetto Land.
Wednesday, December 8th- I will be speaking @ the Inside View booth @ noon-
Wednesday night Parties- InsideView will be at the Metreon @ 7pm and Marketo will be @ SFMOMA from 6:30-9:30pm.
Please come by and say hello!

There is a new book out Muzik Kinda Sweet, featuring pics of Stevie in Birmingham England. Taken during the 1980s by legendary photographer Pogus Caesar. This book is a must have if only for the rarity of the images. A real treasure for Stevie’s real fans.
