On Monday’s, I get to walk downtown to my San Francisco software client and step inside their conference room and deliver my 90-minute training to a group of motivated and enthusiastic inside sales warriors who are hungry for new skills. Give me ten weeks and I’ll give you ten skills- this is all part of my Smart Selling Subscription Shots program.

Sales training always takes a hit during troubled times- certainly because T&E get scrutinized but mostly because we can’t soak up too much time from teams and managers because they are too busy making their numbers. When this happens, I immediately re-evaluate the way I have been doing things and look for ways to listen to my customers and this is what I have heard:
“We can no longer afford to sit passively in training for 3 days- we need more time to be selling”
