Another conversation with a No-Po recently convinced me of another quality they have- they lack creativity and suffer from analysis paralysis. Many of you know about the No-Po, which stands for No Power, No Potential, No Purchase order and basically No Go.
It is sad because they have qualitied that cannot be changed by training or moving to another company. They have deep flaws in their character that keeps them from moving forward. Once a No-Po, Always a No-Po.
Let’s talk about Creativity- I am inspired by creative people in business so check out Fast Company’s Photographic slide show- it’s spectacular. It’s full of gutsy people who made bold moves. These young mavericks are trail blazers and inspiring us all to reach higher. Melinda Gates who is one of the brains behind their foundation, Shai Agassi who is behind the battery powered cars and John Rubinstein who was the powerhouse brains behind the ipod and has moved over to Palm.
These people don’t stop thinking, growing, reaching, creating- nothing gets in their way. You’ve been warned, if you are working with a No-Po and not getting anywhere, get out of there way.
