I’m not one of those bloggers that can blog anywhere, anytime, anyplace. It’s like prospecting, I have to be in the right setting, have my list all ready, my email templates designed and my value prop ready to roll off my tongue. Same thing with blogging, I prefer morning posts and usually check in with the blogsphere on the content that is floating out there.
This time of year is always a time of reflection and gratitude so I shopped a few blogs to see what was out there. Dave Stein highlights his best blog posts of the year (is that really snow on your blog Dave?) while clever Garth Moulton writes Twas the Night before Jigsaw and Smart Nancy Nardin recommends Six Sales Stocking Stuffers. Lastly the fun team at the Inside Sales Experts Blog put together their best book, music and film for 2009. Thanks Trish:) I can’t forget Dooce which includes the cutest video asking her daughter Leta about her list.
My turn- this time of year, it’s all about writing lists for me. Planning, strategy, wishlists because my little ambitious mind never really sits still. I also feel nostalgic as I look back at this year in awe of what I accomplished, how I managed to grow while others had to shut down and the gratitude I feel for partnering and contracting to work with some amazing talent and clients. Here is my list and I sprinkled it with some personal stuff too:
