Remember in 1999 when Salesforce.com first launched their “end of software” messaging and we wondered what that was all about? It makes sense now as we chant the cloud computing mantra daily.
For the past 15 years, I’ve always addressed voice mail messaging as part of our offerings. Years ago the formula for a good voice mail message was to leave a 2-minute data dump and years have passed and we encourage a brief 30-second commercial. Still, I believe voice mail will make a quick exit out the sales door in the very near future. That means “no more voice mails.”
Don’t lose hope and throw your voice mail script away- you can still use it as your opening statement when your prospect answers a live call. The days of leaving messages and waiting for a return call are gone. If you don’t have an email to support all calling efforts, you are basically wasting your time.
I’m very impressed with a company I wrote about last year, GoldMail. I compare this company to my favorite restaurant in San Francisco called Pizzetta 211. Not many people know about my pizza place nor do they know about GoldMail. These are two well-kept secrets you should know about.
Check out this link and listen to my buddy Mark Pierce, tell you about the serive and how it will transform your prospecting efforts. Remember it’s time you pressed refresh on your voice mail messaging.
