It was hot and happening yesterday for San Francisco’s Bay-to-Breakers race. It’s a fun event that draws a vibrant and energetic crowd. Since I live near the park, I hear the helecopters early in the morning and usually within minutes of the race, they announce the winner. The rest of the day is all about walking around the city, hanging in the sun and partying.
As I was driving home through the park last night, I noticed the amount of trash lining the park and got bummed out. It got me thinking about trash- the word, what it means and the damage it leaves behind.
What is your trash load? Does it fit into a 60 gallon container or smaller? What about your emotional trash, what you take with you and hold on to that is unnecessary? What about the trash you leave behind for others to clean up after you go? Or the trash you create when you talk badly about someone.
Time to clean up-
