You know that feeling when you are having a bad day- when everyone around you seems to take your snarky attitude personally and everything you say just comes out so wrong? I had one of those weeks where I upset those around me by something I said or didn’t do. Basically, I felt misunderstood with my intentions. I just wanted to hide inside my little rental apartment with the heater stoked up cooking up my favorite comfort food. On the menu is Annie’s Mac & Cheese and Biscuits (not dog biscuits but the Maria;s biscuits from Spain) and Sleepytime Tea. May sound boring to you and that’s exactly the point, comfort food should not be exciting, it needs to be predictable, safe and comfortable- because it soothes the soul.
Whenever I’m preparing for an outbound prospecting campaign, I need my set of comfort tools so I reach for Hoovers to save the day.
