Candy Cane Holiday Selling

It's not time to close out the year just yet–there's still work to be done and very few days left to maximize your sales potential. Is this time of year filled with challenges or opportunities? Our inspiring podcast panel sees this time of year as an opportunity. Holiday Selling is about getting energized so here are a few tips to get you started.

Tips for Team Members
  • Create your top 25 radar and prioritize your contacts based on where they are and how to best contact them.
  • Understand how the “use it or lose it” policy applies to your decision-maker's vacation time and budget allocation.
  • Create a strong, compelling event story and don't default to discounting. Take the time to articulate what the impact on their business will be if they don't purchase your solution.

Tips for Managers
  • Keep your team members focused on closing business and watch for distraction overload–remember there are fewer days to actually close business this month.
  • Why wait? Arm your team members with quick comebacks to common objections such as “call us back next year” or “I want to wait until the New Year to make a decision.”
  • Ask your team to take the time to plan, plan, plan as this will set them up to begin the New Year on the right foot.
